FAQs

How should I clean my silver pieces without dulling the zircon stones?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth and warm water with a drop of mild dish soap. Gently wipe the silver, then rinse and pat dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or harsh dips—they can loosen zircon settings and strip our hand-applied anti-tarnish finish. For deeper shines, use a non-abrasive polishing cloth made for sterling silver and glide around (not across) the stones.

Can I shower, swim, or work out while wearing your jewelry?

We recommend taking your pieces off first. Chlorine, salt water, and even steamy showers accelerate tarnish and can slowly erode the tiny prongs that hold each zircon. Sweat is acidic, so gym sessions aren’t ideal either. Slip your jewelry into the its box after usage.

What’s the best way to store my jewelry to keep it from tarnishing or scratching?

Air, humidity, and friction are silver’s biggest enemies. Store each item separately in our box that we provide you. Keep it in a cool, dry drawer (not the bathroom) . This prevents silver-on-silver scratches and keeps the zircons from knocking against harder gemstones.

Will the zircon stones lose their sparkle over time, and how can I keep them brilliant?

Zircon is naturally high-refractive, but oils from skin and lotions create a hazy film. A quick dip in lukewarm water with a bit of gentle soap, followed by a soft toothbrush around the stone’s pavilion, restores full fire. Dry with a microfiber cloth. Avoid window or jewelry cleaners containing ammonia—they can pit both silver and zircon over repeated use.

How often should I have my pieces professionally inspected or polished?

If you wear an item daily, bring it to a qualified jeweler (or send it to us) once a year for a safety check: we’ll tighten prongs, refresh the polish, and re-dip in anti-tarnish solution. Light, at-home cloth polishing every few months is plenty between visits. For pieces you save for special occasions, an inspection every two years is fine.
